Rev. Steve Hall, Assistant Pastor | steve@intownchurch.com
Steve and his wife Lyndsey grew up in Salem, Oregon. They moved to Portland in 2007 in search of better coffee and more education, both of which were found. Steve received an M.A. in Theology from Western Seminary in April 2010, working along side his wife in different ministry roles along the way. Steve and Lyndsey have two dogs, and consider residing in the inner east side of Portland one of the most wonderful ways to live. Lyndsey is a talented musician and Steve enjoys playing the ipod. They both deeply resonate with Intown’s mission to impact the city with the gospel, and look forward to serving both Intown and the city of Portland.
Ashley Brassea, Director of Children’s Ministries | ashley@intownchurch.com
Ashley is originally from the beautiful, and just as green as Portland, state of Georgia. She grew up as the only girl in her family where she had to to wrestle her way into the boy's club. In retrospect, she is appreciative of those moments because they have helped her wrestle through more than metaphorically tough situations in her life. She attended Bible college in Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor's in Christian Ministries. She met her husband, who lived 3,000 miles away at the the time, while attending school and they got married in August 2005. They grew restless and wanted to venture out on their own. They visited Portland, both felt God's movement here, and saved up to move here in 2008. After moving to Portland, they did everything in the "right" order - bought a house, got a dog, and had a baby. Their beautiful, hilarious, and content daughter Cora was born in 2010. Ashley has experience teaching in daycare, preschools, and nannying. She is beyond blessed with how God has prepared her for her responsibility of loving on the kids at Intown. In her spare time, Ashley likes to play peek-a-boo, cook, and travel.
The Elders | session@intownchurch.com
A small number of “Elders” serve alongside the Pastor and together they comprise the primary leadership of the Church. In Presbyterian churches this group is elected by the congregation and is called “The Session.” Along with Brian, they can be reached at the address above.
