Community Groups

Community Groups are the best way to truly belong to Intown and participate in God’s mission through his church.

The purpose of Community Groups at Intown is to develop a foundational Christian community where Jesus Christ is experienced in his presence and power, where lives are transformed by the Gospel through mutual ministry, and where the Church is made manifest throughout the city of Portland.

Community Groups meet two to four times a month throughout the city to share meals, burdens, joys, and prayer for the city. Community Groups are designed to be a safe place of nurture and shepherding, where individuals can participate in each others lives, as well as a place of energizing for ministry and service, where individuals can work together to meet the needs of their communities.
