Nursery

Your children are more than welcome at Intown! We have created a warm, safe, and comfortable environment for each child to join in on the fun! We have an infant nursery and a preschool nursery available to your children downstairs every Sunday. Our infant nursery is for birth-1.5 years old and our preschool nursery is for 1.5-4 year olds. All of our nursery workers are either professional childcare providers or regular attendees of the Church and have been interviewed and approved to give great care to your children. On Sunday mornings, parents are asked to please sign-in and sign-out their children at the locations for each age group.

Infants – Birth to 1.5yrs old

Ages: 1.5-4 years old

Each Sunday we sing songs and teach a lesson from the Show Me Jesus curriculum that teaches the children just how much God loves them, takes care of them, and wants to be a part of their lives! We have craft time where the children can use their creativity to create a craft that is applicable to the lesson – we really want them to have a memento of the lesson from that day so that they are reminded of just how interwoven Christ is in their history and in their futures. Our hope is that each child leaves happy and secure in knowing that God cares all about the big and little things that happen in their day to day lives!

Nursing Mothers

Please feel free to have your baby in the service. The bridal changing room, adjacent to the sanctuary (off stage right), is also available for your use if you prefer.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is intended for children ages five through ten years old, or kindergarten through fifth grade, during the sermon time of the main worship service. Children will be excused before the sermon and congregate in the stained glass room off of the fellowship hall. Children will return to the worship service for communion. We are using a curriculum by Faith Alive called Kid Connection. This curriculum allows time for both large group teaching and break-out sessions for more personal discussions. We have teams of teachers rotate on a four week cycle. Each teacher is excited to be there with your children!

IntownU: Kids & Pre-Adults 

IntownU is a time where children get together with other children their age and really delve into God’s word and learn how He is interested in everything that happens in their life and that He is working behind the scenes to help them in their daily lives. We use stories from the Bible to share how we can apply those lessons to our lives today. We are using a curriculum by Faith Alive called Dwell. Intown U starts with a time of worship downstairs in the infant nursery room with Dana Dirksen immediately following the service until 11:30am. After their worship time, children will go to their respective classes:

K-1st: meet in the front half of the preschool nursery room (down the long hall)
2nd-3rd: meet in the infant nursery on the church pews (room at bottom of stairs)
4th-5th: meet in the infant nursery at the round table (room at bottom of stairs)
6th-8th: meet in the kitchen off of the infant nursery room (room at bottom of stairs)
9th-12th: meet at the end of the long hallway, past preschool room
