Rev. Brian Prentiss, Pastor | brian (at) intownchurch.com
Brian joined Intown as Pastor in April of 2009. He and his family arrived from Palo Alto, CA where he was the Associate Pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church. Previously he served as the Director of Collegiate Ministry at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL and for many years in campus ministry. He is a graduate of Samford University and Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. He and his wife Katie both grew up in the Southeast and have four children.

Brian’s interests include Atlanta Braves baseball, films by Michael Mann, and American presidents who wore wigs.
Little known fact: Brian has worked for two Members of Congress (one Democrat and one Republican.)
Theological Influences: His wife Katie, John Frame, Steve Brown, Lesslie Newbigin, Tim Keller, Richard Hays, Richard Mouw, Johnny Cash.

Matthew Curl, Chief Musician | matthew (at) intownchurch.com
Matthew Henry Curl has been Chief Musician at Intown since 2002. He is also front-man and guitarist/keyboardist for the alternative rock band Jonah, a group he has been in since kindergarten. He lives in the SW foothills with his lovely wife Jami and their boy-child Theo.

Robert Larson, Clerk | robert (at) intownchurch.com
Robert has worked in various western states as a bus boy, dishwasher, car washer, shoe salesman, waiter, store detective, mailroom clerk, actor, valet, bellhop, driver and ditch digger. He has great hopes that this vast experience will profoundly benefit Intown. Robert and his incredibly magnanimous wife Rebecca have lived in Portland since 2001.

A small number of “Elders” serve alongside the Pastor and together they comprise the primary leadership of the Church. In Presbyterian churches this group is elected by the congregation and is called “The Session.” Along with Brian, they can be reached at the address above.

The Deacons | diaconate (at) intownchurch.com
The Deacons are the primary arm of service and mercy for the church. They too are elected by the congregation and are tasked primarily with caring for needs inside and outside of the congregation. If you or someone you know is in need, please let us know at the address above.
