Our Faith

Intown is a church which believes the historic Christian faith and is united with churches all over the world who proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and live under the authority of the Bible. The Apostles’ Creed is an ancient confession of the Christian faith and summarizes the basic contours of our theology.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Intown is a congregation of The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The PCA was founded in 1973 and is one of the fastest growing ecclesiastical groups in the United States. The PCA is committed to the historic Christian Gospel and benevolent missions around the world.
